Here you'll find all the latest updates happening at Throwsters Court
This page was last updated on 8th September 2026.
For your reassurance - the building is safe and the staining that is visible is not a safety risk.
Following reports from residents of communal fire doors not closing, our contractor TF Jones has visited Throwsters and completed necessary work.
This issue is now fixed.
The selection process for insurance works has now been completed.
Subject to final approval, the contractor who we expect to complete the works will need around five weeks to prepare before work can start.
Once work has started, it is expected to take around nine weeks to complete.
This means that there are additional things that must be done before work can start:
Yes, the building is safe. The staining visible is just cosmetic.
We will provide the start date once approvals have been received and will confirm the start date with customers.
There maybe some temporary disruption while repair works are carried out.
We will work closely with the contractor to minimise this and give prior notice if any activities will cause disruption
