Structural fixtures

We’re pausing permission for major & structural work permissions. But don't worry, this is only temporary.

Making your own improvements

Due to a change in legislation, we are temporarily pausing requests for major or structural work. This is so we are able to deal with requests in a fair way and ensure the safety of your home.

  • You'll need written consent from us before removing, building or installing any structures within the boundary of the property.
  • You also need written consent from us to make any alterations or improvements to the property.
  • You'll be responsible for all maintenance and repairs to any structure you install with or without our permission. If you make any additions, alterations or improvements to the property or any garden area without our written permission, we may ask you to put the property back to its original condition.
  • Any works carried out by you must comply with all current building regulations and planning permission. You must make sure you employ suitably qualified contractors for all installations and repair works.
