Mark Howden responds to the Trust's regrading
(First published on 29 Sep 2021)
Personally it has been an intensive period of challenge but it's a challenge I have relished. We have rebuilt Peaks & Plains and returned the Trust to compliance two years after self-reporting to the Regulator of Social Housing.

Over that time we have managed a significant period of change at Peaks & Plains in order to address the significant issues we identified. This has included the transformation of our Executive Team, the appointment of a new Chair and a number of new Board members, as well as a massive effort by all of the team here at the Trust to put this right. When we started this there was so much to do, but our efforts have been rewarded.
Thank you to our Chair, Jane McCall and the rest of the Board for their support and to all the staff for all their hardwork, determinantion and commitment to see this through and special thanks to my Executive Team colleagues, Jules Booker and Emma Richman, for your hard work, loyalty, guidance and humour throughout.
The job isn't over yet and we will keep improving and driving change to ensure Peaks & Plains is the best it can be by delivering high quality homes for our customers, helping to improve lives and getting us back to a G1 as soon as possible.
But for now we can look forward with confidence once again.
