Fraud Awareness Week 2025
This week marks International Fraud Awareness Week, and we're joining other organisations in raising awareness of fraud and it's impact - especially when it comes to tenancy fraud.
Tenancy fraud deprives people in genuine need of a safe and secure home. It includes subletting, false applications, abandonment, and unlawful succession.
We’re committed to tackling fraud to ensure homes go to those who need them most.
Did you know?
- Up to 50,000 social homes in the UK may be occupied fraudulently.

- Reporting fraud helps us to rehouse families in urgent need.
What you can do
